Reflection is the change in direction of a wavefront at an interface between two different media so that the wavefront returns into the medium from which it originated. Common examples include the reflection of light, sound and water waves. Methane gas, landfill gas contains many different gases. Methane and carbon dioxide make up 90 to 98% of landfill gas. The remaining 2 to 10% includes nitrogen, oxygen, ammonia, sulfides, hydrogenand various other gases. Landfill gases are produced when bacteria break down organic waste. Rainbows are formed when sunlight is scattered from raindrops into the eyes of an observer.
